Brad Paisley - Anything Like Me

Tonight Daddy had Mommy listen to a song by Brad Paisley... this song pretty much sums up the best post ever!

I hope you enjoy as much as Mommy and Daddy did!

Good Night

It's Raining... It's Pouring.... Sounds like shower time!

I know its been a while since I have written but Mommy and Daddy have been so busy with Wedding Season that Mommy has been going to bed early. Mommy had her Baby Shower this past Sunday at Grandma Linda's House and Auntie Melissa helped out a lot! We got all kinds of wonderful things for my nursery and a pack and play so I can sleep in Mommy and Daddy's room too! I can't wait to cuddle with all of the soft blankets and clothes.

I think I am really starting to grow a lot. Mommy is starting to do make me sea sick again because she waddles so much! I think I heard her say that it is only about 7 more weeks until we get to meet each other.

Mommy is really tired so I think she is going to go to bed now but I am sure she will help me write more soon.

Good night!

Evan Rhys

Daddy's Ready... But Not Quite Ready for Poop

Daddy is really ready to meet me but he doesn't really know how small I am going to be so Auntie Melissa sent Daddy some pictures of him holding my cousin Aidan when he was only 8 days old. Here is one of my favorite pictures..... Ok everyone just so you remember, this is not me, this is my cousin Aidan.
Daddy keeps looking at these pictures and keeps saying "I just don't remember him being that small." I am really excited to meet Daddy, he keeps finding all kinds of new things for me and he is already planning out all of the places we are going to go and the people we are going to see.

He keeps talking about this day called Halloween and how if Mommy goes to the hospital on Halloween he thinks it would be funny if Mommy dressed up as a pregnant nun and Daddy as Satin to go to the hospital.

I really don't know what that really means, but he laughs when he says it so it must be funny.

I think the one thing that Daddy is really not ready for is my poop. Everyone keeps telling him that he will get use to my poop and it won't be that bad. I think Mommy is going to have to buy him a mask so he can change my poop. Now that would be funny! Does anyone have any advise for my Daddy about how to get him ready for my poop? We would love some advice!

Well good night for now!

Love,
Evan Rhys

No Laboring for Mommy and Daddy Today

Happy Labor Day!

At first when I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about Labor Day I got a little excited because I thought that meant that today I would get to meet them... but then I heard a lot of other people talking about Labor Day so I kinda figured out that it was not about me. Today Mommy went and got a calf and foot massage which made it a lot easier for her to walk so I was not as sea sick as I have been lately.

Both Mommy and Daddy had a very quiet Labor Day and just relaxed. Mommy caught up on some e-mails and tv shows and Daddy watched football. I think I would have enjoyed watching football more than the sappy tv shows that Mommy was watching. Daddy told Mommy that she was subjecting me to bad tv....... Days of Our Lives, 90210 reruns, Lifetime and TLC. Some of the shows I kinda like but I wont tell Daddy!

Daddy is now upstairs working on his computer and Mommy is ready for bed. We would like to wish our very good friend Kristyn Breaux a heartfelt congratulations on the birth of her baby girl Olivia - who did indeed arrive on Labor Day.

Good Night

Evan Rhys

Hi Ho Hi Ho It's off to Mt. Charleston we go!

Today Mommy took me to Mt. Charleston to see the beautiful Wedding of Sheri and John! It was the first time since I have been inside Mommy that I have been nice and cool. I think she should take me up there more often. I kicked a lot today and I also did a somersault during the ceremony. Its easy for me to let Mommy know when I am tired or need to stretch, and right now it's still pretty easy for me to move around in here.

Daddy was reading on Baby Center that pretty soon it Mommy wont feel me as much as she has been . I hope that does not happen because I like it when Mommy knows I'm here. Like right now, I just gave her a little poke!

One of Mommy's friends, Rachel, told her that one of her favorite things about being pregnant is that she felt like she was never alone. Mommy loves this advice because I think it makes her talk to me more!

Well tomorrow is Labor Day, but I don't think that means that Mommy will be in labor. Well let's hope not because I am still nice and warm and have a lot of growing to do. Baby Center told Mommy and Daddy that I will start to have a growth spurt this month - I wonder how big I am going to get? Maybe everyone should start to guess how much I am going to weigh when I am born!

Who wants to be the first to guess on my blog?

Happy Labor Day to all!

Sea sick waddle

Last night my cousin Aidan came over and stayed with Mommy and Daddy! They played all kinds of games, made ice cream out of Playdo and played with our doggies Abby and Harlee. Aidan slept with Mommy and Daddy in their bed and he kept sleeping right on my Mommy's tummy. I kicked him in the head but he didn't feel it because he was asleep! Then this morning Mommy and Daddy made a big breakfast before playing with Aidan some more. I really like banana pancakes and applewood bacon! I really can't wait to meet Aidan, I think we are going to get to play a lot!

Today Mommy really took some time to rest, I keep kicking her to remind her that I am here, but I am pretty sure she knows I am here. When she walked into the family room today Daddy gave her a funny look and Mommy said that she feels like she really grew last night.... and Daddy said... "yeah you do look bigger". They both laughed and said "wow this is just so surreal".

Mommy went to Mt. Charleston today for a Wedding Rehearsal, it was so nice up there - it was about 20 degrees cooler than at our house. I can't wait to go back again tomorrow so me and Mommy can be cool!

I guess you might be wondering about the title of this blog today.... well Mommy use to walk a pretty straight line, sometimes there were mini breaks but today I feel like I am on a boat and Mommy is making me sea sick. She started to officially waddle today. I wonder how much rockier this boat is going to get?

So today, according to Baby Center I weigh about 3.3 lbs. and I am just about 16" long. They said that I am about the same size as 4 naval oranges.
Here are some pictures:

Well going to rest now

Evan Rhys

Doctors Visit Today

We went to the doctors today and I got to meet Dr. Moss' husband who is a really nice man. Dr. Moss came into the room today and asked Mommy and Daddy questions about me - like if I move a lot and of course Mommy said that I move tons - sometimes I just like to stretch and kick and right now at this exact moment I have a really good stretch going on and I think that I just got my foot stuck in Mommy's rib. I don't think she likes it very much. My heart rate was 130 today and normally I am in the 150s - I think it's because Mommy ate a really really sweet donut before our appointment today and I might have been in sugar shock.

Mommy took me all over the valley today. We went to lunch, saw Teresa and Mo and then saw a lot of people from Mommy's industry at a dinner/networking event. We even saw Miss. Natasha who taught me about cabbages the other night on this blog!

I think that Mommy got really tired tonight at the networking event because all of a sudden her energy went from tons to none... so now we are home, laying in bed and getting to watch one of Mommy's favorite shows, Days of our Lives.

Daddy stayed home today and started to work on his new business and played with the doggies, who I can't wait to meet. Abby and Harlee seem like they are going to be a lot of fun to play with.

Well I think I am going to go to bed now, or kick Mommy a little bit more before I go to sleep. Anyone want to guess how many times I am going to get Mommy up in the middle of the night to go pee?

Good Night!
Love
Evan Rhys

PS - Happy Birthday to Grandma and Uncle Jon!
